I have Bain's comp the Melvin Ingram. I would rather Downs, Delane, or Tate.

NFL Rumors page said we are trying to trade up to get Downs.

I'm down with drafting Downs. He is a playmaker. He reminds me Tyrann Mathieu.

in a way, wasn't the draft more fun then? The total lack of information out there compared to now could get you to talk yourself into an entire draft class being amazing.

No information and you could sit on the draft Saturday and completely veg out and watch round after round

My 2nd favorite thing about him is he's a thumper.
I'm actually hoping we get him at #8.

The more fun bit was that it was Saturday and Sunday and it wasn't as commercialized.
Now it's a product spread over 2 nights and one day starting on a Thursday night so we can try to get higher ratings.
The fixation on certain points to seemingly create talking points is also cringe and aggravating.
I remember thinking:

YES ESPN. WE STILL KNOW SHEDEUR HASN'T BEEN DRAFTED YET. CAN YOU TALK ABOUT PLAYERS WHO HAVE BEEN DRAFTED PLEASE?

Delane > Downs
Corner is always more important than safety.

I can’t wait to see who you melt about this year. It’s my favorite draft tradition

You knew if they’d be good or not if they had stupid names
Remember Chase Lyman? Bionic knees and we still took him

I've already said I don't really care unless it's Bain. And I've already explained why.
I didn't melt about Banks last year
