we were already terrible on D so really I don't see the difference, it's just so disappointing (even though it would've been for 16 games too) The name, the stats, the need, I guess I still had hope the saints D would find its mojo, and maybe they will but not having byrd isn't really a great boost

Maybe because we had Byrd (a turnover machine), RR wanted to use a "normal" defense to try and help him shine as much as possible.

With Byrd out, we go back to the 3 safety set and everyone goes back to playing where/what they do best.


Is he put on IR-DTR? We had a kid on our football tear his LCL in August and was back in time for the playoffs.
