Outside of criminal, there is league policy related to conduct. He can suspend him for conduct, but the length should be minimal compared to anything criminal.

It doesn’t prove anything although we already know that. The league has already said they may put him on the list if he’s signed. They literally said that. Way before he took a visit with the Saints.

They were just making sure to cover their bases in case the Saints signed him.
