Rosen is a POS human being
___________________________________________________
This times 10.
Yes, Rosen is the prototype NFL prostyle QB who can make all the reads & throws.

Explain to me why less than one year after drafting him in the 1st round AZ is looking to unload him for a 3rd round pick to anyone & replace him with Kyler Murray with the first pick overall.

He is a guy who is completely full of himself & is a locker room cancer. Please do not get this guy.

Sure, let’s see

Kingsbury loves Murray, even before getting fired from TT

quote:

You may recall Kingsbury said he would take Murray No. 1 in the upcoming NFL draft, if it was his choice.

That was before he got fired at Texas Tech and was hired by the Cardinals, and before Murray won the Heisman Trophy and decided to give up baseball and pursue football where he is projected as a top 10 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Sounds like the feeling is mutual and they have a relationship dating back to Murray’s high school days

quote:

“I think, me and him are really tight,” Murray said. “Great relationship with him. I think that was just something…he’s always felt strongly about me as a player and as a kid off the field. I think they’re kind words. At the end of the day, they’re going to do what’s best for them. I can’t go into it with any expectations of being taken by the Cardinals. That would be nice for sure.”

Murray and Kingsbury have a relationship dating back to when he was a high school recruit at Allen. They share an agent in Eric Burkhardt.

Now why would a new coach favor a QB who fits his offense? Oh, he also has the opportunity to draft him! Hmmm

quote:

He predicted greatness would happen because of their relationship and the natural offensive fit because his offense at OU was similar to what Kingsbury ran at Texas Tech.

“If you’ve watched football, we kind of run similar offenses,” Murray said. “I don’t think it would be a big adjustment. He’s going to play fast. He’s going to play in shotgun. He’ll throw the ball around. He’s going to put you in space. Me and him have a good relationship so I think he’d let me be me and allow me to do what I do. I think it would be a great thing

quote:

He is a guy who is completely full of himself & is a locker room cancer. Please do not get this guy

Did you just make this up?

There are numerous positive quotes ranging from players to coaches dating back through his HS days to the Cardinals

He doesn’t give vanilla, cookie cutter Drew Brees quotes, that’s for sure. That seems to trigger some people

Let's be real. Its the Trump stuff that triggers them. Everybody loved cocky Rosen when he had a hot tub in his dorm room.

I actually didn't like that. He wasn't good enough at UCLA to act that way

I'm actually interested what the deal with him really is. You said he was a locker room cancer

I heard a few different things at draft time last year but he would have to be pretty bad to not trade for him at that price.
Also hope the saints draft Stanley Morgan from Nebraska late.
Read they worked him out in a private workout. He is going to be a good one

Would love it if we landed him. He reminds me of Goff when he was a rookie but then got paired with McVay and it turned him into a top 15 QB.

I could see Rosen taking a leap like that under Payton after a year or two of learning under Drew. A Jared Goff like player to lead us into the post-Brees era? I’d take that all day. Question is, what would it take to get him?

let's be fair, you don't go to a man's (Trump) golf club and wear that kind of stuff just like you wouldn't wear Alabama clothes while in class at LSU

I'd do next year's 3rd in a second. Maybe even up to the 2. I'd do that over spending 10-20M on Teddy as insurance. I don't want to give up this year's second unless it helps net another starter this year.

I think I'd give up this year's second if that's what it took. We don't exactly have a ton of starting spots open for a pretty deep and contending team. If you could lock down four years of cheap qb who is also a potential 15 year franchise QB, I think that is worth more than another late second rounder who may take a good bit of time to develop.

What's your obsession with Josh Rosen? You're all over every Josh Rosen thread posting charts worth of stats and trying so hard to convince everyone that he doesn't suck.. I'm really not trying to be a dick. Just curious

Our 40 year old QB is coming up on the last year of his deal. Rosen is 22 year old smart, talented QB on a rookie deal for a few more seasons and the rumored compensation isn't expensive.

I also don't believe the book is written on a guy who played his rookie season in the NFL at age 21 on a shitty team. Coming from 3 different offensive coordinators at UCLA in 3 years, to 2 different OCs with the Cardinals. Id rather look past the numbers and look at the skills. People far smarter than me love Rosen still.

If you hate it, what at is your plan to get a QB ?

I don't care that you think he sucks, even without any kind of argument to back it up. Im posting for the people who may not really know anything about Rosen. Maybe they can at least draw a conclusion with somethings to consider.

People in Josh Rosen threads:

Rosen is garbage though
Rosen is a POS human being
Rosen will be a back up only in his career.
He is a guy who is completely full of himself & is a locker room cancer. Please do not get this guy.
Nope. Taysom hill is better than Josh Rosen and it's not even close. People can argue all day about his " bad situation " in zona but the dude just sucks.

Me: Post stats and charts and facts

You: Now wait just a gosh darn minute here!

These guys got 1 look at him an entire season and already trying to trade him. Plus, they added a guy who's a good offensive mind and probably going to get Murray instead. That tells you all you need to know about Rosen's future. He sucks and will never be good anywhere.

Great post Gyno. I’ve been fully on board with making a move since the rumors started. There will be a period of transition post Brees regardless. It’d be nice to have a smart guy (with a legit pedigree)sit a year behind Brees and then still have 3 more rookie years (2 plus 5th year option) on a very young guy to go with our defense (and MT/ AK) which will he all coming into their prime around the same time.

A 2 or 3 is EASILY worth taking a flier on him.

This is like a golden opportunity to actually get Drew's replacement. A guy who could actually sit and learn from Drew then take over. People want to tank a whole season in 2020(something that definitely won't happen) when we could just trade, not that much, for a talented former top 10 pick.
