They should have been desperate enough to accept a deal without us giving up a 3rd. I just think that's so pathetic of the Saints.

SP was their first choice. He was just expensive. Loomis got jealous of Denver talking to other girls and caved. Also didn't help that SP had all is media buddies like Cowherd telling the public that the Saints were asking too much. The Saints got played like a fiddle.

I don’t believe it. They probably leaked that as a bargaining tool so the Saints wouldn’t think they were so desperate to hire Payton.
