Should we? Two shut down corners would wreck the league.

Dude is about to be 32. HARD pass. Wouldn't give a 7th for the guy.

Great player. Not sure you want him in locker room

He was good for about 3-4 seasons and then fizzled out.

aqib talib is on last yr of his deal. 12 mill cap hit. 1 mill dead space. He will be cut and will be a free agent.

He was still ranked the 15th best CB in the NFL on PFF last year

This is the same guy who got thrown out of a game for snatching a chain and starting a fight.

Pass.

Don’t care how good he is.

McKenzie and Greer were two of our better FA signings/trades we've ever made.

That said, Talib seems like a guy that plays hards and stays quiet(er) on a winning team so I wonder what would have happened during our 0-2 start if we had him.

Still talented but I don't think I'd want to chance it (unless we are talking 5th-7th rounder then you consider it).

Yeah he just holds a grudge from high school and keeps trying to fight the guy every time they play.

I think this team is still missing that veteran piece in the secondary. I'm not saying Talib would be the answer, but it would be nice to have someone back there to help the players out with in game decision making. Sharper played a huge role in 2009, and helped make that defense a ball hawking one.

Crawley is at a minimum contract on an upward trend.

Talib is 12 million on downward.

Their talents as of the moment are fairly comparable imo.
