In 2021 is had 148 yards and 3 TD vs UCLA, 127 and a TD vs Auburn, 85 yards and 2 TDS vs Miss State.
From the 2020 Alabama Game till he got hurt in 2021 he looked amazing.
Post injury post O firing he was all over the place.

I think the change of scenery will do wonders for him and he was the best available at one of our biggest positions of need, but some on this board would have taken a QB we don't need or an undersized DE that also underproduced in college.

We signed Derek Carr who came off a horrible year. Some of you act like he’s the next Drew Brees. We don’t need a qb is just a laughable statement. If Carr continues his crap play his backup is Winston (who Allen benched for Dalton). Hooker was basically a Heisman candidate before he got hurt and honestly would have been drafted in first round if not for his injury. But go ahead draft a DT and even he is a stud (highly doubt), hes not scoring points or moving the ball on offense.

So: we should just assume Carr will be bad and pass on a starter at another position. Is that what you're saying?

What’s crazy is that before 2018, I think we had a pretty educated fan base. But ever since the No Call it’s like the NFL pulled a Monstars and sucked out any rational thought process from us. Every take is so extreme
