You heard it here first. This injury for Brees was the last time you'll see him play. Taysom will perform so well that Brees will stay benched. Just like Brady/Bledsoe.

Can we all appreciate what Brees has done for the city and the Saints. He has transformed the organization and gave so much back to NOLA.

It was a pleasure watching you play Brees. I will enjoy you and Romo co-calling games together. It will be a joy. Much respect Brees.

Taysom is our future. He earned it. Think a stronger Josh Allen.

Brees will be back if he’s physically able. I don’t care how well Hill plays

Well aren't you being kind to Drew Bledsoe in this analogy.

Taysom has a noodle arm while Allen probably has a top 5 strongest arm of all time in the NFL.

Taysom's college stats tells me all I need to know about his passing abilities.

Lmfao. It'll be more like people begging for Winston after the 5th qb run and 2nd fumble

Winston may have the most interceptions but Hill will break the record for most fumbles

No way this is a serious post but just in case it is let’s compare. Josh Allen is 6’5” 250 lbs and is pretty quick and can throw the ball 70 yards. He’s def flawed but an up and coming talent in this league. The guy who you said is “stronger” than although is a physical freak has a career 50% completion percentage snd has done very very little in the nfl and hasn’t proven a damn thing. Was it his 3-4 fumbles this year that’s earned it? He’s also 30 years old and still can’t seem to go through any type of progression on the football field.

I'm going to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and say he meant physically stronger, not a stronger arm. I would definitely say Taysom is more physical, but that is probably because Josh Allen needs to stay healthy as he's the starting QB.

The rest of the post is a joke though.

Do you promise to come back even if Taysom doesn't play as well as you think he will?

I'll keep bumping this thread every week with a Taysom win until ya'll take back all those downvotes. I know a winner when I see one.

More likely is after Brees retires the Saints go back to being one of the worst teams in the NFL for the next 20 years.

That's fine. Winning =/= playing so well that Brees loses his starting job when healthy.

One really nice thing about playing Taysom right now is when Brees does come back, teams will have to respect Taysom as a passer and not just a runner. So he will be even more effective for the plays that he comes in on.
