re: Brees gets a brutal critique from a Fox analyst. 'He's not as loved as he thinks he is.'

He’s probably not completely wrong. But this need to continue to shite on tGOAT Saints player by a certain politically obsessed portion of our fanbase is pretty pathetic.
It’s fricking exhausting

Well maybe if YOU would have pulled your weight YALL may have won despite Brees!!

It’s so funny to me how many of you fickle fricking pussies have turned on Brees because he “went woke”. Brees is the only reason we rose from the depths of hell as the aints and established this organization as a consistent winning one. Without drew the saints would still be nothing.

Lol don’t mention him with Brady that’s not fair to Drew

Lol at nerdy Drew. Maybe Wrangler jeans will let him do a commercial.
How about a commercial where Drew is painting the Saints endzones in the dome.

Damn he must have been tge flash on steroids then, I could have sworn I seen jerseys out there that said colston, bush, Pierre Thomas, Ingram, evans,Evans,, etc..
He should have definitely won the mvp in 09, if he was the only person running the offense and intercepting all those passes Sharper uh I mean Brees did

I think there is probably a lot of truth to this. Brees will and can never be loved by the National Media like he was or is in New Orleans.
Many years we viewed Brees as an MVP type player and a top 5 QB, but he rarely was by the Media. Often overshadowed by numerous others like Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Favre and then later Mahomes and Wilson.
Brees probably was content to retire thinking that most of the NFL record book would belong to him until Brady decided to keep playing so long.
So outside of New Orleans Brees will probably never be more than a footnote to the NFL. He can stay #2 in most records and will probably not be named on most Top 10 QB list.

When we lost it was because " Brees can't do it all" but when we win its only because of Brees

main beef i have with Brees was with his misfires in the Rams game in the no call game.
make no mistake, frick the no call.
but there was the
pass to Mike he left on the ground inside/around the Rams 20
and missed to Ginn late in the game.
bad form Drew. Bad form.
after that season, i was just hoping not believing how far the team would go.
Edit: Defense also set up the offense via a tipped interception by DeMario early in the game and the O couldn't punch it in.
instead a FG and a 6-0 lead instead of 10-0.
a TO that deep that was wasted on a FG.
just bad form man.

I’m ok with anyone and everyone piling on Drew.

Good. Glad someone finally said it to the ego driven narcissit that has lead this team for the past. Decade.
Dude didnt realize the woke community was going to eat him either way.
Even though they turned the SJWs on the team loose on him.
Should have gotten rid of him after his arm went limp.

Yep. Payten can be blamed for that. He should have kicked Brees to the curb when he could have gotten Brady.
