Mackel reporting that Saints could sign Anthony Hargrove as early as tomorrow.

Also:
@SportsLawGuy: Remember-- this case is still pending before Judge Berrigan. Players can head back to court if unhappy w/ result of redetermination.

Adam Schefter said that they would.
The Mackel reporter for WDSU Channel 6 said the coaches and Loomis are planning to file a suit in court this afternoon.
Filing suit for what? Vilma had an actual case with Goodell publicly making false claims against him and the NFLPA had a case because Goodell violated the CBA by saying an on field issue was off field. The coaches are not in a similar position.
95% of the people in this thread are irrationally exuberant and are acting like a war was won when this was just a battle. The players will be suspended again eventually. The only thing I see as more positive than expected is the way more of the media is turning and Goodell is becoming a joke on this issue.

Even though this ruling has nothing to do with the coaches, if Goodell can't prove that there was intent to injure, then what would be the grounds that the coaches are suspended on? I feel like they would basically have to waive the coaching suspensions.

Can the OP please rename this thread or add disclaimer (dancing banana marathon)

If the panel says it agreed that there was a program set up for intent to injure, how hard will it actually be for Goodell to prove it?

Wrote this weeks ago. RT @DonBanks Appeals panel gives opportunity 4 settlement. Both NFL, players would be wise to meet in middle & move on

Why rename it? There is a disclaimer

That's what I'm wondering. What exactly were they basing that on?

Stephanie Stradley ?@StephStradley Just read the CBA Appeals Panel decision. It's a mess beyond my ability to explain in 140. Think not all CBA issues raised in FedCt answered

Yeah.
The more you look at it, the more it looks like this decision might have actually HELPED Goodell.
He now has a court ruling that backed his claim that the Saints had a pay to injure program.
Whatever punishments he decides for these four players, he'll now be able to say that the courts backed his claim. Also stops him from presenting any new "evidence" the players might scream for when it was enough for the courts.

This. Either they saw something we haven't, or they're tools like so many others in this process.

Sean should have sued immediately. These assholes in the NFL have no proof.

I know. Thats why I want the actual text of the ruling. I don't trust anything coming from the NFL or ESPN at face value.
