Way less passing ability

Hurts was a terribly inaccurate passer in college. Even in the LSU Oklahoma game he was awful. He didn’t become decent until a few years in the NFL.

Actually, he improved tremendously in 2019 at Oklahoma. He re-made himself.

He got his arse kicked by 2019 LSU, but so did everyone else.

Milroe had games where he would go off. It's not like he's a one-dimensional chump.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to Milroe; just absolutely not at #9.

Yea and all the OU fans complained about him which is crazy to think about now. Same thing with Jayden Daniels and LSU.

The thing with Milroe is the Saban/Deboer change never gave him a chance to make that senior leap. Between the portal and coaching changes bama lost too much continuity. Bama was supposed to regress and that’s exactly what we saw.

I truly feel like Milroe is a buzz word and people just think “black guy who can’t throw. Never won anything at bama so he must not be good”. But half these assholes just like talking shite and haven’t actually watched him play. Dude is an absolute freak, has every tool, and is ultra competitive. But but ohh noo he might bust!!! Yea no shite he probably will. They all are probably going to bust. It’s a coin flip at best every time. Oh no he’s going to bust!! Y’all are so scared

Your post went crazy and went off the rails here.

LSU fans were skeptical and critical of Jayden Daniels in 2022 when his performance was mediocre.

A couple games into 2023, when it was obvious that he was tremendously improved and having a Heisman type of year, the fanbase fell in love with him.

It’s ok for both of those things to be true about Jayden Daniels.

Milroe, on the other hand, has never shown himself to be a great passer at any point at all.

Why did he win so many games if he sucked so bad?

You can’t be serious with that question. He had an extremely talented supporting cast. Also, he lost 4 games this year anyway.

Was Jake Coker an NFL-caliber QB just because he went 14-1 and won a national championship at Alabama in 2015?
Absolutely not.

Was Mac Jones a good NFL QB just because he went undefeated and won a national championship at Alabama in 2020? Absolutely not

You don’t look at wins and losses. You look at the players attributes and performance. By your logic Jayden Daniels wasn’t that great since we lost at least 3 games in each of his years as a starter at LSU.

We will probably trade up to get Sanders and then draft Milroe with our next pick!! That is some stupid arse shite the Saints would do. This draft will be a disaster. I loathe this front office.

Ohh ok is that how it works? You do realize that someone a lot smarter than us is going to draft him right? Maybe not because he’s the next Tom Brady or Mahomes but because it’s the 3rd round in the nfl draft and he’s a better talent than anyone left. You bring up bums like Mac Jones. Guess what? He deserved to be drafted. How bout Kenny Pickett? How about Daniel Jones? You can not like milroe, but to act like he sucks is ridiculous. He will be drafted because he can win football games. I’ve personally seen him take a game over and dominate.

He doesn’t suck as a college QB. I said he’s not NFL caliber. Big difference

Some great college QBs are not going to be capable of doing well in the NFL even if their physical tools allow them to function well in college football.

Same reason Daniels lost so many games last year. Same reason Mahomes didn’t win shite at TT.

Supporting cast….

Ok well I can’t predict the future. The odds say all these quarterbacks will likely bust. I think he’s a good enough athlete to justify a dart throw. Maybe will never be an elite franchise pocket passer but I know you could build an offense with him (very similar to Philly) and win football games.

Nah y’all act like the guy was being carried. He’s not AJ Mcarron. He put up over 70 touchdowns the past two years.
