All this is because of her. CSP ran this organization not Mickey not Dennis not Popeye on the westbank.
She didn't want to live in new orleans. Therefore he left

These coaches like to trade up to younger women. What are we gonna do?

Blame not being part of a succession plan that included Mickey Loomis . Payton jetted not even a year after this was announced. He built the brand and took it with him when he left. He should be Loomis’ boss

Payton knew what was coming down the road due to lack of talent and salary cap issues; his leaving was a smart move.

It's more than that. Peyton knew his run with quarterback Drew Brees was nearing an end. He made hasty trades to get one more Super Bowl before it all collapsed. It nearly worked, too, until the NFL ordered corrupt officials to give Los Angeles a favorable call at the end of an NFC Championship game. Then, Peyton burned out. Perfectly normal at that juncture in his career. When it was clear Brees was finished, he moved on. The franchise has not been the same since.

The Broncos are 1-2, losing on FGs in back to back weeks with the same kind of Sean Payton special we lost on from 2017-on. Walk-off losses angainst good teams were his specialty and his hand-picked QB seems to be regressing in year 2.
Any success Payton had was on the back of Brees. That’s where the downfall started - when Brees retired.
