Not sure Houston has the ownership status Payton is seemingly wanting to get paired with.

Do you actually think Houston is the only team that will offer Payton big money??

If I implied that I would certainly entertain your question past this one sentence response.

Quite clearly money is not going to be the determining factor in where Payton goes. No team, if they want Payton, is going to get out bid. So money, as you wrote (and not simply implied), will not talk here.

He’s probably going to the Texans. He’ll have full control(and it probably won’t turn out well, but who cares)

Shedding a tear that Allen’s name won’t be on the list of fired coaches.

No team will be outbid means money is going to be a factor.

But we already knew that. Money is always a factor

I have a sinking feeling in my stomach that Carmichael will be the scapegoat and Allen will get another year

I'd take Arizona's 2nd this year and next year's 1st and 3rd. This year's first would not even be a requirement.

Payton has already said situation is more important to him than anything, ie FO and ownership. And I do think he means it. He wants a functional franchise.

Every team is going to offer him similar amounts of obscene money, and I seriously doubt the Texans with cheap ownership are going to be the ones to offer him substantially more than anyone else.

It would be good for us if he want there, though.

DA is 100% getting another year. Carmichael may not. My sinking feeling is that he does...

what fricked us last year is the late start.

we can't frick up again with a late start if we swap coaches. needs to be now or we're fricked till next year.

I can't see Sean going to the Texans. They have none of what he wants.

Yeah, they have money. So does every other team. Sean wants to go to a team where he can be the football czar, and have a decent roster, preferably a QB. Houston is probably a 3-5 year rebuild from seriously competing. He also wants west coast. Houston is a shithole. I can't imagine he'll even interview with them.
