Payton retiring. Regardless of how one season ending we knew we were in great hands with Payton. I don’t think a lot of our fans realized just how good we had it with him. But that will change soon unfortunately.

You are one of those Retard fans aren’t you? Imagine being ready for a coaching change from one of the top 3-5 coaches in the game

Not even a fair question - ram no call- there were at least two officials looking as the WR was knocked down a few seconds before the ball landed and they didn’t even flinch

Payton is sad but kinda expected

The 4 qbs that can't grasp the same knowledge that drew brees can is what drove Sean to call it quits from the saints.

I stopped watching the NFL after the no call, so I’ll have to go with that one.

Payton retiring was the bigger gut punch for me. I was working during that Rams game, so I only saw the replay. While I was mad, it didn't sour me as bad since I didn't watch the game live.

I guess I was a fool and a clown. But I really just naturally assumed Sean would stay here for another 10 years until he was almost 70.

Rams no call legitimately raises my blood pressure like nothing else. Payton leaving sucks but I get it. I’m grateful for his time here. Rams can lick my sweaty unkept taint.

I feel nothing right now honestly. We already went through this with Brees and were somewhat expecting it

Same. No Call is the shittiest feeling I’ve ever had at or after a sporting event. It also made me kinda numb to that type of thing so I don’t thing anything will ever match it.

I’ll party my arse off when/if the Saints win another one but it’ll never be the same as if Drew had won #2.

Easy, the no call...

Made me really start to not care so much about the NFL anymore.

Bigger gut punch?

How can you compare these 2 things???

Once cost us a Super Bowl appearance. The other should’ve happened already.

Rams. At that moment, I stopped truly caring about the NFL.

There is nothing you can say, do or show me that will dissuade me from my stance that the NFL is rigged. Period.

Do I still watch? A little. More so in Playoff time. Have I watched one full game, from start to finish, including Playoffs? Nope.

It’s been actually a great thing — it frees my day to do a lot more, get things done, be more productive, and so forth.

No call changed legacies and history of the league. Coaches come and go but that call will haunt the franchise forever.

The rams. That’s not a question.

This was going to happen eventually. The rams no call never should have happened.

IDK about retard... maybe. I just know the Saints have been in a perpetual state of decline since 2018. Records don't lie and may be called a retard as well I guess.

Rams No Call, though Payton’s mismanagement of the game and the clock at the end put the Saints in a position to get screwed. The game never should been come down to that.

As for Payton leaving, the Saints essentially just lost Mike McCarthy. Go look at their career coaching records, which are almost identical. They’re essentially the same guy. Good coaches, not elite coaches. That’s why it’s so comical Cowboys fans have a hard-on for Payton. They already have him.

Payton was a punch in the gut, Rams was a punch in the nuts
