Any draft with him in that range is a failure. I wouldn’t touch him until the 3rd as value pick.

Best thing that can happen is LOVE slip down.

As some said, that 5th year option if you are looking at at QB will make you move up from the second round.

not the Browns, but maybe a team like the Colts who have a lot of picks. But i would love that senerio.

Yea I’m not sure why this trade is so well received. It is almost as if people are so desperate for the Saints to trade down that they are willing to accept any trade. We would be getting hosed on that trade.

Besides, you would think we would be conditioned to accept that we are trading up. We are going to make a strong play for our QB of the future. Expect to give up players and picks for Tua.

an early 3 gets you another solid player and/or possibly Jake Frohm

I’ve had this feeling for a couple weeks now. Imo the saints move up to 8 or 10 for a qb. If not 13.

It isn’t a good value to draft 18 spots, out of the first round, for a third round pick. It isn’t about trading down. The trade is grossly undervalued for the Saints.

Hamler would be savage in Payton offense

Who are the browns trading up for?

my immediate thought when I saw the tread title. I can pitch unlimited trade scenarios, but none will mean diddly poo unless there's a gain for both parties involved.

He just isn’t my favorite guy in round 3. Yeah he is really fast and is a playmaker but he is short/small 5’9, struggles with drops, and a poor route runner. We don’t have the kind of offense to utilize his skill set. The only thing he would be good for is running off defenders, screens, and gadget plays. I love Drew but he doesn’t have the arm strength to utilize a deep threat speedster. My opinion but I feel there is much better receiver options In the 3rd that fit our offense better.

A 2 and a 3 for a 1 is not good value. I'm all for trading back and accumulating more throws at the dartboard but that is a shite deal.

Man that would be awesome but doubt it will happen. Theyll take best available player...even if it's not a position of need

I think LT yes but I think that’s why they’ve been linked to Jedrick Wills and Andrew Thomas for the longest time.

The Saints are going to draft Love if they can

This is Drew’s last year. After that we have a 30m cap hit and I believe significant hits the next year or two afterwards

We need a rookie QB on a cheap deal to get us through the next four years. Only way you can hold onto the depth you have accumulated the last few years. Smart roster management if they can pull it off

Left tackle is the Browns biggest need. Their oline was awful last year. They signed Conklin to man the right side. They desperately need to fill the left. They are a lock for tackle unless someone falls that they can’t pass up.
