you are the same kind of guy that would try and get my extra tickets for only 5 bucks when the saints sucked but now that they are good you want tickets at face value. learn how it works jackass, when a team is good tickets wont be cheap. go support the texans if you want cheap tickets

I paid @ $300 for season tickets in the lower terrace. I couldn't think of a better way to spend $30 on a Sunday afternoon. If you didn't buy season tickets when they were available then you must have had something better to do with your day than go to a football game. If I can't make a game, then I would have no problem selling my ticket for $100 or so to someone who didn't take advantage when the had the chance, bandwagon fan or not.

Exactly. Look at it like the stock market. Buy low, sell high. I've been trying to get the seats next to me for years. That way I van take friends and also sell a few to some bandwagon fans to pay them off

Does that make me not a "real fan"? frick no. And I would definitely take personal offense to someone calling me out like that.
if you can't afford $180 then you should prob not be posting on this board and finding a 2nd job
not to mention their is a payment plan in place now where u can pay in 3 installments
there are a number of things i would give up in my life before I would give up my Saints tickets

this argument keeps getting dumber. the 72,000 people in there were obviously fan enough to make sure they had a ticket, unlike you

you still lose your right to bitch about the price of a ticket or their lack of "fan-ness" since they were willing to pony up the cash and you weren't

Also, in 2006, the season tickets were really cheap because we weren't forced to buy preseason tickets (dome wasnt ready yet).
2005 season happened, I was at Tiger Stadium for those miserable games. Haslett fired, Payton hired.
After we signed Brees, I bought 4 terrace season tickets ($25 each). Then there was another influx of tickets a month later when Bush was drafted. If those 3 things (Payton, Brees, Bush) didn't get you excited as a Saints fan, then, you're probably not as big a Saints fan as you say. As others have said, it's not too hard to find a way to set aside $150-250 a year for something you love.

The funny thing is that I accidentally sold my personal pair on Stubhub and I too am ticketless to the Saints/Giants game.
I am going to try to find a pair Saturday night but if not I'll just enjoy Sunday Ticket.

bottom line is out of the 70,000 at the dome on sunday, a good % wouldn't have been there if we were 2-2
those folks make the dome unaffordable for those who would have been there for bad and average teams in years past and deserve to see a real super bowl contender

sooo you used to be able to afford tickets and u were there for bad and average teams, and now that the prices have gone down(after 2005, when they were 3-13....) you cant afford them???WHERE WERE YOU then???
you make no sense...

how the frick can you be priced out on stubhub, ticketexchange, etc? every single ticket is not over $100. and if you don't want this problem in the future, buy someone's season ticket rights in the offseason. a lot of people move or just can't afford it anymore and they'll offer their season tickets for cheap.

since the hurricane, i've went to saints games when we were 0-2, 6-7, 7-7, and 8-7. some people can't do season tickets. it happens. i paid very reasonable prices for tickets. now the cheapest you can find is $150 for the giants, and the only affordable ticket the rest of the season is tampa bay in what we hope will be a meaningless game at the end of the season.
at least i have a hookup for the hornets

Season tickets sold out after a 3-13 season. How do you explain that? Were we so clairvoyant to know we were headed deep into playoffs or were we just longtime fans who liked the steps the team was making in the right direction? If you weren't part of that group in 2006, then how can you call out any of those fans with tickets now?
