Damn I want him in Black and Gold. He's well spoken and has a great attitude.
Says he accepted his injury and the impacts to his draft stock immediately. He said "The doc told me it was torn. I said ok. When's surgery and when can I rehab?"
He was one of the best inside backers in the country the past two years. I would love to snag him in the 3rd and let him fully rehab gearing up to be our future in the middle of the defense.

4 MIKE capable players on the roster for now...one with a starter's contract. We are likely done there.

I know you are kidding but if Thomas played consistently like he did in the Alabama game this year, he would be a steal at UDFA.

Walterfootball has him rated as 3rd-5th round pick. I think he gets drafted somewhere. Dude has serious potential

Every time we draft a bad knee in hopes of rehabbing in a RS year, it never works!! Hate to say but pass on Beckwith!!

Dwayne Thomas will absolutely be drafted. He'll be gone by mid 5th round. At the latest.

I think he won us all over after backing up his talk for the Bama game.
DAMN SHAME we couldn't move the ball given that defensive performance.

I think Dwayne Thomas could be a good nickel. Good enough in coverage & pretty good in run support. He isn't flashy, but he makes plays. I'd take him with our 6th or 7th round pick. He'd be a steal as an udfa, but I assume he gets drafted.
I like Beckwith & I might take a gamble with our 2nd 3rd round pick(#103). We've had some bad luck with drafting players with knee injuries though. He was probably a late 2nd round guy before his injury. I wouldn't be surprised if he fell to the 4th.
