At least we’re not the Raiders

I wonder how Carr is feeling hearing this news.

I’m jealous they fired their loser HC.. when are we going to do the same?

Wasn't just their HC. Will also have a new GM, & roughly $70M under their 2024 cap. This job just became one of the better openings because they should be able to quickly do a complete rebuild in the mold of the new GM & HC.

They should absolutely tank now for a top QB

The redhead owners don’t mess around.

At least our owner is a "Good Catholic."

Does benching Jimmy G in order to start Aiden O'Connell for the rest of the season qualify as tanking?

Yes! If D.A.goes to mass each weekend he just may get an extension.

If Allen had to face the Chiefs, Chargers and Sean Payton twice a year, he’d probably also be getting fired. But playing in the worst division and worst starting QBs in the league he has managed to survive.

you could argue the raiders are in a much better position than we are as they actually trimmed the dead weight that we refuse to drop

All true except…it’s the Raiders: the most dysfunctional organization in the league. Firing everyone won’t be a panacea for them any more than it would be for us.

I wish we had those balls actually.

Words that will never apply to the Saints.

That fish rots from the head down.
Mark Davis didn’t fire himself as possibly the worst NFL team owner.

I mean we kinda are. We hired the coach and qb they fired along with their disgraced former HC as a consultant.

We should follow the Raiders lead and fire the GM and Head Coach. But we are in cap hell and what GM and coach would want to come here and inherit that? Benson should tell Mickey to clean up the Cap issue ASAP! Then move him out of the GM role and have co-presidents or something since she will never fire him.
