Another thing with Kap he has been out of football for 2 years, that is a very long time for a QB it is not he has been on IR and still with a team and training staff

Reid has injury concerns, but I wouldn’t mind if we signed him at a hometown discount. He would be a good addition to what we already have.

If you can sign Kaep for the vet minimum he'd be a better backup than what we have. As long as the players don't mind him being there (as a locker room distraction) then I think it'd be a good idea.

People also forget that Kap has turned down offers from teams like the Broncos who wanted to bring him in as a backup paying backup money. He wants starter or bust, and he won’t get it.
