Yes one is a private citizen the other is a public entity. Its really not that hard to understand the difference.

It's funny how the less government crowd totally abandons their stance if it fitss their agenda. If Nike had the lowest bid you use then period. Outright banning them from even bidding without any oversight is wrong and could be illegal.

Regardless all this political bullshite is up in my sports way too much.

Making a big deal because of a Nike ad, not allowing kids in recreational sports to wear the brand, while Louisiana has a million other things to worry about is as low IQ as it gets.

Is it lower IQ than letting the buccs throw unlimited deep balls without adjustment and making Ryan Fitzpatrick look like Drew Brees with more rushing yards than Kamara and no spy on him on long downs?

No. It is not.

Because forbidding a company to take part in the bid process is illegal. If Nike has the lowest bid for like and kind goods and services, by Kenner charter, they are to get the contract.

Do you think Nike directly bids for booster club apparel?

It doesn’t matter now. They will he immediately disqualified, thus illegal.

And Nike did pledge 100k a year for 5 years in donations to Kenner Rec. Wait until that gets out, lol.

Yeah because all those cities that won’t corporate with ICE aren’t making a political statement either huh? Governments make political statements/stands all the time, but the only time the snowflakes care is when it’s a conservative stance.

Get the frick outta here

Is that what he is doing? I thought it was a mandate to not have Kenner public funds purchase Nike equipment. Can't they just buy another brand name when there is a need for a new purchase?

If you don't think a billion dollar company thought about the repercussions of bigot fans that hide their racism through false patriotism and confirmed they will actually make more money from this; your not too bright.

It will take less than 6 months for their stocks to tumble...signed, not too bright!
