Underhill tweeted that but I’m not so sure it’s a fact. Teams are allowed to wear their alternates for one post season game. The Rams wore their throwbacks as everyone knows.
Now I’m not sure why color rush wouldn’t be an alternate or why they would be excluded but they could be left out for whatever reason. If color rush is labeled as an alternate uniform then the Saints have the right to wear them since the Rams wore an alternate this past weekend

I thought they did away with the "color rush" designation and they are just recognized as alternates now. I've been trying to find a link.

Most likely if what Underhill stated is true. Would be a really stupid rule for Color Rush to not be labeled as an alternate jersey. Also, why would the Saints Instagram even list the color rush on their page if they can’t wear them?
ETA: Nvm. The Rams official home uniforms this year was allowed to be the blue on yellow so technically they didn’t wear alternates. Color rush doesn’t look likely boys. All black it is

They have relaxed the rules for this season, but what I can't find clarification on is whether or not they're deemed "alternate" or "color rush." Found an article where they explain the "color rush" has ended, but I can't disscern whether or not that is in reference to the uniform or the Thursday night event.

Even if we were given special permission to wear our all whites (which wouldn’t happen anyway, which is probably why we wore all black instead of the color rush even though color rush won the fan vote) I’d rather the Rams have to wear their all whites rather than their blue and yellow which they obviously love.
