Boston Scott was picked up in the 6th round by the Saints in 2018. He would have been more productive with the Saints but for some reason Payton exposed him for Philly to grab him.
He would be much better for the Saints as the 3rd RB than Tony Jones in any case.

Sean tried to keep him but our roster was just too good. The second he waived him to try to hide him on the practice squad he got scooped up by Philly

I think we can pretty much guarantee AK is gonna miss at least 6 games due to suspension (I’m not 100% sure it won’t be more).

yeah but from what I recall he got cute carrying extra wide receiver when he was already keeping extra tightend and roster heavy on lineman. Based on preseason and practice production he had no business exposing Scott.

In my mocks, I've pretty consistently gone rb at #120
Usually one or two of the Bama, Florida and Notre Dane running backs are there. I think any of those three at 120 woukd be solid.

Simple draft either Isaiah Spiller I the 2nd or draft the guy from South Carolina #20 in the 3rd... Problem solved

I don't think I'm using a 2nd on a running back when I'm paying kamara that much money
You can find a guy in the 4th.

Regarding this, Kamara has a new court date tomorrow, so maybe we will learn something. I have no seen any indications he will be suspended for 6 or 8 games, but i guess it is certainly possible.

For every 4th/5th round guy that turns out to be good, there’s probably 10 who never get a carry. Unless you subscribe to the theory that our organization has some special RB eval power. I
The thing is, with committee back systems in college, you are able to get discounts on guys that otherwise would be bell-cows at other schools.
This it the Alvin Kamara theory.
Kennth Walker and his 1600yds is going to be rated higher than James Cook and his 700 yards.
If you remove the situation and evaluate the player in a vacuum, there isn't much differece.

Eh not really. The cliff correlates more with volume and injury.
Kamara only has 1,285 touches and no real major injury. 30% of his touches are through the air where he isn’t slamming into 300 lbers
Compared to a guy like Leveon Bell, who had 1,765 touches through the same amount of games and some injuries
Or toddy Gurley who had nearly 1500 touches through the same time frame and the wonky knee

Saints need some horses in that stable Braw.
