I know Penning is essentially a "rookie" in terms of actual game experience, but it will be interesting to see how long the Saints choose to stick with him if he doesn't improve...quickly. When Carr had a little bit of time he was pretty solid pushing the ball downfield. But you can't blame him for being uncomfortable in the pocket when his LT was seemingly getting beat from the second the ball was snapped. I can't imagine DA, whom the fans are, at best, already lukewarm on, would risk his biggest offseason investment (Carr) and his own career as a HC simply to wait and see if Penning can develop.

Key has actually been a pretty good player since getting away from the Raiders. Check his stats the last two years at San Francisco and Jacksonville. He has been durable, playing in 34 games the past two seasons, with a combined 11 sacks.
