I doubt he falls out of the top-10.

I can't imagine CHI passing him at 9

Both charges are misdemeanors

“If Carter is found guilty, he could face a fine of $1,000 and up to a year in jail for each count.”

The charges are light considering the death of his teammate, the fact that he left the scene and alcohol was suspected. I could see a tough judge using those factors and hammering him, giving him jail time or even giving him the max on each count
and running the sentences consecutively. I think he falls given that and his poor conditioning today at pro day.

If he was available, would give him a long and hard look. But the Saints’ last UGA DL Sullivan was a bust and his legacy is eating buffet food in the suites during a game.

I think the kid has minimal, if any, history and these are misdemeanors. People almost never go to jail for nonviolent misdemeanors, especially if it is their first. That judge would be out of line almost assuredly.

If a misdemeanor is considered that bad to warrant jail time, they will include mandatory days (like in LA with battery on a police officer).

Well he took a giant step toward falling by showing up out of shape and unprepared for his pro day. That atter not working out at the combine.

Guy has Jonathan Sullivan (with legal problems) written all over him.

Micky better not trade up for this clown.

Have you not been paying attention to what has been happening in the criminal justice system. People are getting slaps on the wrist for actual violent crimes, DA's refusing charges left and right, felony's get misdemeanor charges...
At most he gets probation and a suspended driver's license

Carter, who was once considered a potential No. 1 pick in April's draft, weighed 323 pounds at the pro day. He opted to do only position drills and didn't participate in other aspects of the workout, including the 40-yard dash, cone drills and other physical tests. Carter didn't finish the position drills because he was cramping up and breathing heavily.

Sounds like right now, he couldn’t even complete the 40 without keeling over.
