Should we stop the unnecessary national anthem before the game? The national anthem has turned sporting events political before the protests. How many people here stand for the anthem before starting work? Wtbs, I'm happy that dummy is losing his money on lawyer fees.

Yeah, its not a surprise that the author doesnt realize that it's not up to Kap and other players if they mean no disrespect or not. It IS disrespectful to me and apparently many many others.

I bet you think all these women getting TV personalities fired are a bunch of thin skinned you-know-whats who need to get to life.

If you are "offended" because Kenny Vacarro did something during the National Anthem, you are a bigger baby than them.

I have attended Saints games on a regular basis for the past 31 years. We have had season tickets in the family for that long. This finally ends after the season. I approached it with a level head at the beginning of the season, and respected the other side at first, but as I kept going to the games this season, the subject made me realize that I have many other priorities in life and other forms of entertainment that I would like to experience. I have a lot of stress and challenges in my life, just like so many others, but I attend games to escape that stress and enjoy a moment as a family/city/region. To me it is no different than going to a movie or a musical. When paid entertainers use that stage to protest their views (about anything), I just do not think it is appropriate. I reflected on the experience at the games over several weeks and decided I don't need that in my family's life right now.

Even though the Saints have been such a success this season, my interest now is minimal to moderate. If I have this interest now, I won't care at all if they go back to being a sub-par team.

I will still watch them on TV, but that's about it. No more merchandise or tickets.

My opinion could change in a few years if the NFL management takes a stand, but I don't see it happening.

Snowflakes. Might as well do your hair in dreadlocks and put on a pair of Jesus boots.

Hmmm, your post history suggests another reason:

but I can't afford four seats unless it's in the upper level of the terrace, and I sure as heck am not exposing them to drunk trash up there, so I will likely have to cancel them.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the open minded reception I got here. Good for y’all for being able to form your own opinions. As for you, go back to circle jerking your orange overlord on the poliboard.

And for the love of god, why can’t you political talk fanboys keep this shite on the fricking political board.... I, like most here, like to keep politics and sports separate... why the frick do you snowflakes insist on injecting this garbage into the sports world?

I agree that is part of the reason, but I still would have kept the seats so I could at least take my son. With the issues that have come to light over the past two years, it made me realize that it's not worth it anymore.

Then the NFL couldn't receive its paychecks from USAA, Navy Federal Credit Union, and the Department of Defense.

Because they're so sick of rich white men being oppressed in our society and they're just not going to take it anymore.
