This is the worst move of the offseason. Worse than the Hopkins trade. This will definitely cost the Saints one of their elite young players in the near future. Top 10 guard money to a guy who’s always hurt and constantly grades out as one of the worst starters in the NFL.

I wonder if the way he played in the Vikings game was more health-related because wasn't he coming back from an injury in that game? once he left the game and Easton came in the game things got better not much better but better nonetheless.

Well we win the playoff game if Peat stays injured and Easton finishes the game. Crazy how we actually moved the ball and scored when he was out.

He’s not worth the money when you can get similar production off the street

Peat doesn't read this board. You don't need to lie.

Peat has been very good at some points but this is way too much money for someone who is so often hurt and has been very up and down when he is on the field

Wondering if they’re planning on moving him to T in 1-2 years

The worst part about it is that the Bucs signed a swing G/T named Joe Haeg from Indy for 1 year at $2.3M a year. Haeg like Peat is only 26/27 and coming into his expected prime years.

PFF Grade for Haeg: 71
PFF Grade for Peat: 49

FFFFFF

I agree Zz.
The Man is a mountain.
It's what we need and have always had to enable Brees to do what he does best.

The contract Peat got is laughable. Loomis should be embarrassed.

The frick have we won with Peat? Peat couldn't do his job and drew got hurt. Peat couldn't do his job and drew scrambled and turn the ball over and we lost to the Vikings. We need a receiver and a linebacker.
