Tommie Frazier & Tim Tebow accounted for a ton of collegiate touchdowns as well.

Exaggeration. First off I was one the only ones on this board who said Steelers were smart for getting Fields on the cheap. Back when you and the other truthers were still hung up on Carr.

I understand people doubt Milroe can develop into an NFL passer. That’s justified. But to pretend like he hasn’t been a great player? To act like he hasn’t been an elite offensive weapon who can completely dominate a football game? You’re either an ignorant hater or you’re just stupid. He’s put up 71 touchdowns the last two seasons. He may never translate to being a franchise qb, but he’s not a freaking bum

He also got benched against USF

Milroe will be fortunate to have the NFL success of Justin Fields

Anthony Richardson is the best comparison for Milroe. Richardson made some big plays at Florida with his legs yet was an up & down passer. Richardson is pretty much a bum with the Colts. This is what you want with the Saints?

I get the appeal

Looking at possible picks around 40 in mocks, it would be insane to pass on these guys

Tyler Booker
Jayden Higgins
Luther Burden
Mason Taylor
Aireontae Ersery
Judkins
Tre Henderson
Carson Schwesinger
Jaylin Noel
Donovan Jackson
Landon Jackson
Nic Scourton
James Pearce
Eli Arroyo

The list goes on. Milroe would be a nice luxury if we were good. These guys are day 1 starters on our poor team

Because he played like complete arse the week prior at home against Texas where he threw some really bad picks including a pick 6. He was also completely lost & played like arse both games against Michigan. Milroe also had stinkers against Tennessee, Vanderbilt, South Carolina & Oklahoma in 2024.

Nothing says Milroe is a better football player Competitor?

Many have said he’s given the best interviews in the draft class. Team captain. Academic heisman.

Fields is the better athlete

He was given an athleticism score of 81 at the combine. Milroe was given a 99

It’s amazing how quickly y’all can just spread an ignorant narrative.

Value? Guy hasn’t even been drafted yet

Based on the assumption we draft him in the second round.

Richardson played like 4 games in college. I thought he was a stupid pick in the first round. I’m able to judge different quarterbacks as individuals. I don’t lump every black guy into the same category.

Neither guy worked out at the combine you’re looking at estimated athletic scores from NFL.com

They both ran at their pro day - 40 yard dash. 20 and 10 yard splits. No agility drills. Milroe was a split faster, Fields 10 lbs heavier and nearly an inch taller

Combined speed RAS - Fields 29.6, Milroe 29.7. Negligible difference.

Put on the tape, you see Fields is easily the more fluid athlete. Milroe has nice straight line but doesn’t have the fluidity of Fields

Richardson played in 24 college games, Milroe 38.

They both suck

How about 2023 when he only lost two games and one was in overtime to the future national champions. What about Sanders vs BYU? What about Dart vs Florida?

I watched Milroe single handedly beat LSU by 40 in tiger stadium. I’ve never seen anyone do that

I watched Dart a few weeks earlier lose to the same team. And no bama was not overly dominant last year and LSU’s defense wasn’t nearly as bad as it was in 23’

He started for one season, he barely had any numbers to show for it. It was basically a blind pick. He basically plays nothing like Milroe. The only similarities are their skin color

What's weird is Milroe was mostly only good against LSU, and struggled against every other SEC team.

IMO, Milroe is the type of prospect you take and coach up. As one scout said, he has the power of Cam Newton with the speed of Lamar Jackson. If you can teach him to be a below average to average passer, you can do some serious damage with him.

Those losses were to Texas & Michigan where Milroe was a big reason for both of those losses. He played terrible.

What does this have anything to do Milroe?

So this is what your infatuation with Milroe is ultimately about. I'm sorry but the Tiger's safety play was just as bad in '24 as it was in '23. Lack of containment at times by the edges were a problem but bad angles & run fits by the LSU safeties is what allowed for those big runs by Milroe. You are mistakenly hyping Milroe based on extremely poor defensive play.

He has a lot better traits than Milroe. That’s why he was drafted. Milroe doesn’t even have Richardson caliber traits.

Yeah, it has nothing to do with the both of them being wildly inaccurate at times & their struggles to correctly read defenses. The majority of Alabama wanted Milroe benched this past season because he was so inconsistent & the Alabama offensive skill players threatened to transfer if Milroe didn't enter the draft.
