And this coaching staff stopped asking him to run the full tree. That why you got the production but at a cost of overall offensive efficiency.

He isn’t a 1. You are limiting the fricking offense by doing this. He’s not a 1. He’s an elite 2.

Pierce had over 1,000 yards on only 47 catches and is improving his route running. Imagine if he had a quarterback throwing him the ball.

Not that it matters, but why post something that clearly shows you know nothing about the NFL?

I am very knowledgable but have never seen this guy play. Presumably he is a good player if he commanded a big pay day.

He won’t take as much damage with a limp arse route tree. He’s a 2. He’s fricking elite at the 2. Pair him with a top 15 X and this offense would be insane.

You don’t pay a 2 that kind of money. You can outfit half your damn targets for that money. He’s no different than Brandin Cooks, save the attitude.

sure, but you're either paying him fa value or you're going to move on. THere's no inbetween.

Olave has a 1yr 15.5 million gtd contract.
Add 3 yrs 33.33 per million to it.

That totaling to a near identical contract to Pierce. We have Olave tagged, Pierce was not and had leverage.

The market is what it is. If yall don't want to pay Olave you'll just have to turn around and pay someone else the same, and if they're better than Olave you'll have to pay them more. If anything Olave in the mid 30's could be a deal in two seasons.

He’s not tagged but on a 5th yr option. The fact that he can be tagged raises his trade value because if buys a team enough time to negotiate if things stall.

Trade him, gain a slew of picks, and retool the team with players that can grow and mold around your QB.

I was thinking signing Olave was going to happen. I think I now know why it hasn’t yet and won’t happen.
Now do we have a insanely great year and Olave is a big part of that maybe things change.

If he is in this roster and that happens, you tag him and offer a signing bonus that will eclipse the tag number.

fricking move him and finish the rebuild.

Google is your friend, bud. You are referring to the final year being a voidable year.

Alec Pierce has not signed a contract with a void year

Olave's price is probably floor 29-30 upwards to 33 apy.
His floor will be $33 mil. xD

He is likely to see around $35-36 mil per year.

We are definitely draft a WR in first now. Olave isn't worth that amount.
