First off, anyone who states Super Bowl rings when talking about quarterbacks is retarded. Tom Brady is a good quarterback on a great team.

If you are as offensive minded as SP and the Saints then its a no brainer going with Drew Brees. My rankings for quarterbacks are
1. Peyton Manning---reason being he can run the same offense and has been doing it longer.
2. Drew Brees--- at the moment I feel he is the best but needs to have 1 more year of success.
(hopefully superbowl ring)
3. Tom Brady---This year will answer alot. Patriots have lost alot of defense.

Dan Marino doesn't have any. Trent Dilfer does.

Excellent point.

Quarterbacks become great because of the system (Tom Brady)

Rarely has a system become great because of the quarterback (Drew Brees)

Lets rephrase the question. If 32 NFL teams right now had to pick between Breeze and Brady what do you think the split would be?

Fair question that was passed by everyone else. I think there is little doubt that Brees is a better QB than Brady today. If all 32 teams had a vote, I'd say it would be 31 - 1 for Brady. The one obviously being the Saints. The NFL is in love with size at QB, but we know that shite doesn't matter.

Brees hands down. Brady has been the recipient of a better all around team. New Orleans is getting there. Imagine Breesus on the Pats the past 5 years!

to win one game, i want Brady....no doubt at all.

for a full season, it would be hard to go against Brees right now, esp b/c Brady is not 100% back.

I honestly think that the saints are the best team in the nfl right now, and drew is a HUGE part of the equation! and I would take drew over tom braddy!

You hit the nail on the head RIGHT NOW maybe not last year ,probably not the year before but without a doubt RIGHT NOW beginning about game 5 last year through RIGHT NOW not another QB has been able to touch him as far as pure performance and value.

Where is Drew Brees ranked No. 1 since 2006?

* Yards - His 14,628 leads Peyton Manning (12,740) and Brett Favre (11,622)

* 300-plus yard days - His 24 leads Tony Romo (17) and Peyton Manning (14)

* TD passes - His 94 leads Peyton Manning (90) and Tony Romo (83)

* Completions of 25-plus yards - His 106 leads Tony Romo (94), Peyton Manning (88) and Philip Rivers (88).

Brees also has the longest current streak of games with at least 200-plus yards passing at 21. Shaun Hill of San Francisco and Philip Rivers of San Diego trail with five straight 200-yard plus games.

First off, I'd like to say thank you to the Miami Dolphins for signing Daunte Culpepper.

I believe that Drew Brees is already the best player, not just QB, in Saints history.

Manning is getting older, and Brady has been injured and takes more hits.

You have to take Drew if you're building a franchise, not those other two.

It's odd....I went to the Pat's board and asked the same question and the consensus was Brees is their choice as well.

I'm sure the Indy board would be the same way.

why come to the Saints board and ask this?

He started his junior year and split time with drew hinson his senior year. So whats the point, they are both Big 10 guys.
