you heard it here 1st.

that is the ceiling with this coaching staff. Defense good enough to keep you in ball games but offense with or without Carr is sus. 10 points yesterday generated on offense and the o line has given up like 100 sacks. how many trips to the red zone have resulted in field goals? that Carr to Graham pass was pretty but then you remember this isnt the jimmy graham of 10 years ago. olave is a bright spot but Thomas will get you 6 yards on a slant. They dont know what to do with Shaheed.

the two wins are against cellar dwellers and yesterdays loss was to a team missing like half their starters and who is the third best team in their division.

maybe 10 and 7 will win you the division but it'll be one and done.

You thought you saw someone die on the field when Damar Hamlin went down. Whoever plays QB for this team could die with this O line. They are absolutely terrible

Except people have been saying this since they signed Carr.

Which is basically half of the schedule, and why so many posters have been calling for a 9/10 win season. As another poster pointed out, the schedule should be generating a minimum of 14 wins; but you won't get that with DA, Pete, & Marone in the building.

well who you is?

ill put it to you this way--

Steve Korte was a better center than Joel Hilgenberg, Dave Lafary was the bomb until Jim Dombrowski came along and Rasheed Shaheed is a rich man's Jitter Fields.

10-7 and a division win should be considered a successful season in this era.

10-7 and win the NFC South? Yes, that is a Saints successful season, regardless of what they do in the Playoffs.

Won 7 games with Jameis & Andy as his QBs and a tougher schedule.

Also, all last year it was he can't win more than 4 games, he can't win back-to-back games... I am not saying he is the long-term solution, and I wish he was gone now. But the reality is, he has a lot more front office support here than he did in Oak; so his ability to keep this team in purgatory for a long time is there.

By purgatory, I mean in that limbo of never been bad enough to get a top 5 pick, but not being good enough to do damage in the playoffs. Therefore, always drafting in that late teen to mid-20s spot (when Loomis keeps the 1st rounder).
