Taysom is a Restricted Free Agent.
We'll give him a 2nd round tender & pay him 3.3 mil. If another team wants him more than we do...we get a 2nd rounder in return for him.

I'd fire Dennis Allen and hire Wade Phillips. Certainly couldnt do any worse than the shite show that secondary put on this year.

Thinking this team is going anywhere anytime in the future is what's stupid. But keep on with your 'next year' dreaming. You'll be doing that another five years.

Glad you aren’t out GM.
I’ll be the first to admit Drew is absolutely not what he once was. Not even close. However he is still a top 5....maybe top 8 QB in the NFL. We absolutely need to make it a priority finding his replacement.
I’m all for giving Taysom a shot at QB. I am not a fan of making him the starter for the year. Give him the preseason and no matter how that goes a couple games. If he struggles, back to his old role then maybe a couple more later on in the season.
Drew has constantly taken pay cuts to bring guys in, what makes you think he won’t take a pay cut to match his performance and bring other guys in.
Take Taysom out of the equation, who can we realistically get to replace Drew?
