He can do whatever he wants, if he wants to come back I'll welcome him and back him. If he wants to retire, I'd understand. Hes got money, he has children, still relatively young for retirement overall in life

We went to the playoffs the last three years. Add more talent and we probably make it next year too.
As long as you're in the dance you have a chance. The playoff losses suck but it's better than the team sitting at home after week 17. Some of you must forget how it felt when we couldn't even sniff the playoffs.

Woah...gonna stop you there buddy. Brees has never taken a pay cut for us and I don’t blame him. However now that he’s 40+ years old and regressing, he’s in no position to demand $25-$30 million a season from us.

You should be slapped in the fricking mouth for spewing this bullshite. I love Drew, but he ABSOLUTELY has NOT taken a fricking pay cut. Drew (at 1 point) said he wanted to sign a contract to allow more FA signings, and he lied about that shite.
Now, don’t get it twisted.....I don’t hold getting paid against him because he was (criminally) under paid on the previous contract........but don’t lie.

Basically this.
While these last 3 seasons have been an entirely different kind of frustrating than watching the team go 7-9 repeatedly, it's been nice feeling relatively comfortable for the majority of the season that they'll make it to the playoffs in the first place.
(...now there's just the feeling like they'll get there and find some new and innovative way to get screwed over and/or make a crucial mistake at the last second
)
