Didnt see anyone mention this so I thought I’d throw it in!
From Underhill
So add that guy to the mix for the crowded WR group. Going to be fun to watch in training camp.
Also, are we anticipating another cut because we signed Terrence West? Or did we have a spot open?

I could be wrong, but I don't think we had a spot available. Should still have get rid of 1 player I think.

For a guy with a 3.9 career ypc and as many catches in his career as Ingram had in one year?
Nah it's the exact right value. Ingram last year alone basically matched or passed West's career numbers aside from total rushing yards (in which he had more than half of West's career total).
For a 225 lbs. HB his ypc is pretty disappointing.

Based on his past...you're probably right. I think his production will increase in this offense though. I really like the signing. I think he's the best possible option we could've gotten for league minimum. Alfred Morris would have probably been a better addition, but I doubt he could've been had for league minimum & no guaranteed carries. I think no guaranteed carries is why Jamaal Charles didn't sign here (CSP never came out & said exactly that, but his comments about the situation lead me to that conclusion).

This NFL offseason really seems to have flown by. The free agency period and 2018 NFL Draft are done and OTAs and minicamp are in the rearview mirror. It was announced recently by the NFL that training camp for the Saints will officially start on July 25 with all players reporting.
Rookies are scheduled to report on July 18, a week before the veterans, to get caught up on how the whole thing works. An orientation period if you will. Veterans will report on July 25 and practices will begin on July 26.
The Saints will be holding training camp at their facility on Airline Drive in Metairie, Louisiana. This is the second consecutive year training camp will be held there after recent training camps were held at the Greenbriar in West Virginia.
While at the Greenbriar for three years, the Saints didn’t have a winning season. Returning home last season brought an 11-5 result and a playoff victory.
The Saints haven’t released a full training camp schedule but that should be available soon. Details will follow with news on public access, parking and fan activities.
