I'm glad Thomas is 6'2" & Not 5'9".

Like the Von Bell pic too.

LMAO at the Harper comparison. Just watch Bell's highlights.

Harper never once in his career made an interception as athletic or using his hands like Bell did on multiple occasions.

Bell can freaking catch something only Breaux and Byrd on our defense seem to be able to do.

Harper came in to the league as a Free safety. Saints had drafted BigJ's boy Josh Bullocks the year before so he transitioned to SS for us and never left. From there he added some weight and became a box safety.

even at bama he was a FS. Peprah was the SS

Is it sad that Devery turned out to be the best one?

There have been no QBs drafted that you should not have heard of if you are a sports fan.

so we could afford to pay three DT's? one of which would not start? would that be most bang for our buck? we don't run a 5-2 or 6-2 front where we could start 3 or 4 DT's. DWI.
you don't draft a G in the 2nd. ?

So much wrong in 1 post. 1st in the text you quoted they said DL not DT. 2nd Even if you go DT you are getting bang for your buck because you get to rotate your DTs to keep them fresh. 3rd Nick Fairley is only signed 1 season and it would be nice to have someone behind him in case he doesn't work out or works out and prices himself outside our range.

I'm not upset at the WR pick since we needed WR help and Thomas has the potential to be one of the better ones in the draft. I just think that DL was a greater need but Payton obviously disagrees. That's fine and I hope he's right. All I know is in 2014 Byrd was seen as an All Pro safety and since he's been here he hasn't been near that level. I believe that has more to do with DL than his talent magically disappearing.
