So frustrating to see this type of logic try to be argued. It's a fricking team game, what more could Brees have done? With just a mediocre defense we win this game. It fricking Drew's fault that we literally cannot stop anyone?

I thought the defense played its best game today. They made a big stop when it counted and they got an INT when it mattered. Our offense simply could not capitalize.

Well Breesus, you make a good point. I just can't place the blame on Drew for this, seems like 27 points would have us in a position to win.

I agree with you 100 percent. Loomis built this roster, especially on Defense, and, this Defense Roster is WEAK.
But, Loomis will be here as long as he wants. Benson will never replace him, not matter what.
I have doubts about Mr. Loomis's abilities right now. In my view, he has not done a good job.

But our offensive roster is off the charts. Its hard to spend time and money on both. We are an offensive team and we give them the best stuff. To be far, we have tried to put talent on the defense. Some has not panned out. That happens. Hopefuly we get a big play maker in the offseason, either a blitzing OLB, or Pass Rushing DE and the whole team might change.

Loomis is not a talent scout. The Saints draft who the coaches want to draft.
Loomis is a great, great GM in terms of contractual stuff. He crams as much into the salary cap as is possible.
The defensive roster you see today is more a product of Gregg Williams' eye for talent and MIckey Loomis accommodating him.

What a tool. Dude had at least 5 dropped passes including one from Sproles on the last drive that would have put the game away. If you want to hate on someone do it on Hartley. Guy hasn't done dick since '09
