This was such a dumb retort. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to benefit from professionalism.

I give Zion credit for keeping his head down, not complaining publicly, etc. I love that he plugs away privately.
Seriously, what does he have to complain about? He is getting paid well to work 50% of the time.

No team in the NBA lacks this modern day "injury" problem.

That's good for y'all. We've been saying this for 3 years now and you called everyone idiots. Y'all needed to be humbled

What's his points status at Golden Corral? Gotta be platinum level by now.

On a side note, I was wandering around TJ Maxx while my wife did her thing and picked up a Zion mini Funko for $3. They made Zion's face so svelte that it makes me laugh every time I look at it.

I asked in the game thread, but wasn't sure if anyone saw it. Was he at the game last night? I didn't see him (on tv), but saw all our other injured players. I was watching a pod and they weren't sure either. He has to be at games, injured or not..

Nope. Wasn't there. Was there on Friday though. Apparently he doesn't do back to backs to support his team either.

Wouldn't that be a big deal? Wouldn't they have to address it?
I get that he is injured. But he should still have to attend games, unless something serious pulls him away and he is excused. I hate this lack of transparency..

I don’t know how he can look his teammates in the eye; not even showing up to watch. It’s unconscionable.

Hallmark of a poverty franchise is squandering once in a generation talent twice in under 10 years.
Posted on 11/20/24 at 9:23 am to SirWinston
Doesn’t that imply those guys weren’t actually once in a generation ?

My counter to that would be in draft they were touted as “once in a generation” but under this organizational leadership that wasn’t the case. But I agree players have to take some of the responsibility here as well although our organization does a shitty job in supporting our stars.

I don't understand why he can't show up to the game and sit on the sideline. ANd i dont want to hear he has to rehab in New Orleans or in LA or wherever. It's not that hard to rehab on the road. Everyone else on the team is somehow capable of doing so.
Anyone think Zion is shooting 1000 free throws every day? B/c that's what he should be doing, but I'd bet money he's not. Maybe standing still and working on his handle? Just b/c you're hamstring is tight doesn't mean you can't do simple ball handling drills, or shoot free throws.

Yup posted in another thread how Paolo is on the bench working with the head coach and actively involved with the team to the point hes been credited as helping them on their 6 game win streak. Leadership comes in many forms- and Zion is severely lacking in this department.

That pisses me off. I can't imagine this goes over well with Zion's teammates.
I'm done with the guy. I'd almost wish he'd just come out and say I want to be traded so we can get it over with, and maybe that'll help convince teams he's just been disgruntled and not an injured pussy and we'll still get good value for him.
