Man I’m scared of him playing back to backs lol. Too many good vibes- dont need a dumb injury v a shitty bulls team.

I was wondering about this.

It's because Zion is finally in peak condition. We know that from the eyeball test, but you know that they still have all the Aaron Nelson biometric data, right? The training staff can measure all kinds of stuff. They can put him on a treadmill at a specific speed and see what his heart rate goes to, etc.

Only 26 minutes tonight. I would think that improves his chances.

TBH, I’d actually rather him not play today, so he can be fresh for Monday’s tourney game. 3 games in 4 nights and the travel associated is not easy.

If he gets injured today or on Monday after deviating from his back to back plan, I don’t think he or this franchise will survive the fall out.

Those were an easy 26 minutes last night. Honestly, exertion wise, that wasn’t much different than a live practice for him. If they would have needed Zion to put up 30 in 33+ minutes I would be he would sit. He took 9 shots. It looked like he was on cruise control all night. With last night being so easy, I would think he plays tonight.

CJ is out tonight right?

I was wondering why they gave him 38 minutes but that makes sense if he's not making the trip

You're right. I think he was obviously saving himself. There were several times when he had the opportunity to attack the basket that he instead passed out to someone else. And they were good passes, of course, but they were times when he'd normally just go straight to the cup.
