When he doesn't come into the season in optimal Zion shape/conditioning, it's kind of hard to trust that he can handle burden while trusting him to stay healthy.
Had he came into the season in the best shape of his life like CJ did, we may have been more aggressive in our approach with him.

That very well may be what the organization thinks. And if it is, they're just wasting time. They could easily get someone like Pascal Siakam to play the role they're putting Zion in. And he'd probably be better in that role. Siakam's a better defender, shooter, and more available. He's a very good passer and excellent as a secondary creator.
In no way am I advocating for a trade of Zion. We've seen him play at an individual and team level that only a couple of players in the league can match. But if the organization doesn't trust him to get back to or exceed that level, then they're just wasting time.

You absolutely nailed it. The organization needs to make Zion the #1 guy. He's behind BI and CJ in shot attempts. Zion's play style makes roster construction extremely hard. Why would you bend over backward to build a roster that fits Zion when you don't even treat him like the #1 option.
This is not a shot at CJ or BI, those guys have been playing great.

Zion was supposed to be THE man. Not second or third fiddle to McCollum and fricking Brandon Ingram.

We are on a hot streak, mostly healthy, and just kicked Golden State and Sacramento’s arse on the road and THIS is what we’re discussing.
God damn

I love how the pels are playing but come on dont come on here on a thread that was discussed before the game started and act like people are hating after they start blowing out the warriors. Thats just disingenuous.

That game was a perfect example of what I’m talking about where Zion and BI haven’t really HAD to take over games
BI had 13 points and he didn’t even have a bad game
