If AD misses the game, the west will get a replacement player, so still a chance for BI also

It’s nice they seemingly are valuing intangibles(though maybe it’s just old fashioned name recognition) but there are about 3-4 guards that I think should be a bit miffed CP3 is in and not them.

I would hope they would give it to a front court player.

Technically if the fan voting isn't too off with how the press/coach votes adjusted things, Ingram would be next up if they did frontcourt for frontcourt....But I can not seriously see the league choosing a second player on an 11th seed team when teams like 6 seed SA don't even have one representative or teams like Utah and PHO only have one.

Im guessing somehow Booker, Conley, DeRozan, with an outside shot of Ja or Fox, get selected as the replacement.

100% deserved. Big Z has been on an absolute tear lately. We got a good one

SA doesn't have a standout guy
Utah has 2 (Gobert and Mitchell) already

It comes down to Devin Booker or Brandon Ingram and lets be honest...Booker should get it due to the fact they're a top 4 seed. Ingram has the better overall numbers though.

Fair point on Utah.

But nah, I don't see it. It will come down to Booker, DeRozan, or Conley. I bet in that order.

Unless they are holding themselves to an arbitrary frontcourt for frontcourt standard, Ingram ain't even gonna be in the discussion. Not that I agree with that.

N/P

A take so dumb that this reporter should have all his future all star votes taken away...

I think Ingram probably deserves from a numbers standpoint, but it is embarrassing to have two guys that are all-stars and be the 11th seed (especially since we have been relatively injury free).

A ton of that has to do with it being the western vs the eastern conference, the early inconsistency of our bench and 3pt shooting, and Stan has cost some games from poor rotation/adjustments.

Now one thing is for sure if I am picking front court players off the all-star team there is no way I am picking Gobert over Ingram.

Yeah I think that is 100% it.

Hope I’m wrong but just can’t see them doing it due to the politics of the choice.

Booker is the obvious(that Lebron is already out lobbying), DeRozan is the guy I could see coaches/league wanting to reward in the way CP3 was for his intangibles and being the clear leader and heart and soul of a playoff team, and Conley if they want to reward the borderline all star vet on the best team.

Our SOS has been rough and we’ve had shite luck... we power rate in Vegas higher than our seed... just need stop derping against the bottom half.

I mean I don’t really see the problem with it?

23-11-5.5 on 48% shooting and 41% from three.

Sabonis and Middleton have a grudge they should hold somewhere, but I’d look at Vucevic before Randle. Since Vucevic has been pretty bad defensively and the Magic are terrible.

I wouldn’t say we have been necessarily unlucky. We have not had a bunch of injuries.

Our bench was garbage early and we shot like shite for two months.

Zion, BI, and Adams have played unbelievably all season. They definitely were never an issue.
