This is fricking absurd. I had one of my kids induced on a Saturday so I wouldn’t miss any work. This mother fricker makes $50M a year.

Will you just stop asking if NBA players can’t schedule childbirth around their games? You realize policemen, firemen, doctors take off when they have a child right? Yet, you want a guy to family plan his child’s birth around a NBA game. Do you know how asinine that sounds right?

No. I think the details are worth pondering.

They take FMLA and personal time off. Cause they work year round and don't have 5 month offseasons.

So, did he plan it? You are being ubiquitous with this. I'm giving him a hard time cause he was careless and now it's costing the team. You're making it seem like this is what he wanted, schedule be damned. Which one is it?

So now you think because he plays for the pelicans you as a fan have a right to criticize how he has sexual intercourse and impregnates a woman?

So technically according to you hes a careless professional basketball player because he should have thought about you as a fan before putting his dick in a woman and making her pregnant?

Again do you get how crazy that sounds?

Again it doesn’t matter he wanted it or not. His sex life should not be our personal business. You need serious help dude.

Dude shut the frick up with this knighting gayness. Zion is a fat slob w youth mental issues that got had by a fricking skank insta slut that’s now got him for 18 years. His off court antics has affected his performance ever since he’s been drafted.

- sorry for being an adult. I know its not easy for you to think that way.

Newsflash for you. I think some of you expect NBA players to be these clean professional guys like Drew Brees. Heres a run down of some famous NBA players and their issues.

Kobe- cheated on his wife and had sex assault trial.
Jordan- cheated on his wife and avid gambler(went to casino night before eastern conf finals)
Magic Johnson- cheated on wife and got aids.
Karl Malone- had sex with underage girl.
Rodman- speaks for himself.
Tony Parker- cheated on his wife with his teammates wife.
Jason Kidd- cheated and beat on his wife.

Thats just a few. Zion has weight issues. Who he has sex with shouldn’t matter and you guys need to grow up. Him having sex with someone off Instagram doesn’t affect how he plays. Him being out of shape does.

How many kids did these athletes have and how many games missed due to birth of child?

Ok so now you want to talk NBA players missing games because of the birth of their child. Here are a few horrible(sarcasm)NBA players who miss games due to birth of their kid.

Al Horford
Derrick White
Mike Conley
Jimmy Butler
Dennis Schroder
Dwayne Wade

There are plenty of examples of NBA players missing games due to birth of their child. This isn’t some crazy arse concept.

People can think and have opinions of anyone they want. It doesn't matter who he plays for.

He should think about his team and career. This should all be managed for him. So she has a kid in season. How do we manage this for him?

There should be ongoing conversations, with a sense of urgency. You are just like whatever, take as much time as you need. I don't understand that mentality.

People have babies everyday, the world doesn't stop. There are many accommodations that could have been done so that any time he missed was minimized. I don't see that happening here.

Once I'll ask you. How much time do you think is excusable? I can see you are cool with him missing Friday. How much longer is acceptable, until you start getting a bit ticked?

Hes missed one game and you are questioning his family planning, his time to have sex and his professionalism.

How do you manage someone having a child during the season? What are you saying they should urge her to get an abortion or to induce only on a day when hes not playing? You do know this is not wife- he can’t control when she has a kid.

Hes missed a game. Maybe he misses tomorrow. He’ll probably be back after the Rockets game and if not its not the end of the world. You’re panicking like hes going to miss a month. You need to take a Xanax.

The first is gross and not worth a response.

If they are inducing, then yes, somewhat plan around his schedule. An off day or early in the morning.

Has she had the kid yet? I haven't seen any announcements. So I honestly don't know. There are just ways to manage the situation that would benefit everyone involved.

I'm not panicking. I never expect him to play. I've given up on that years ago. I'm still going to talk about it though and point out the folly in it all. I guess you are in the same boat and just figure he'll be back when he feels like it..

Your whole argument on this issue is folly. Its 2023 not 1955. A man cannot force a woman to induce at a certain date. Men missing work because of the birth of their child is very common today. Its ok I know the world is different but you’ll be ok I promise you.

Did she have the baby yet? I haven't seen a birth announcement anywhere?

We all assumed that's why he was missing. But there is nothing confirming it. She posted a picture at the hospital and reports ran with it.

Could there be something else going on?
