I don’t think Phoenix has the money for a big name FA if they bring in Davis and Solo.
Those two make about $40m combined while Ayton makes $10m and Warren makes about $11m. That puts Phoenix at about the $100 million range on payroll without sending out other contracts like Bridges and Tyler Johnson.

Your boy Fletcher is an idiot. The Suns have no chance to resign him. He's not even worth Elie Okobo to PHX considering they won 20 games last year and he's walking next summer.

Robert. Sarver.
I think he is deluded enough to think he could fly AD in, leave goats in the locker room, and convince AD to resign in Phoenix.
Well that is the hope. Incompetent owner looking to make a big splash. Prey on their delusion and the Monty connection.

Watch for Phoenix with AD trade.
DeAndre Ayron..last years #1 pick
T.J. Warren
And their first pick #6
For Davis and hill.
I'd take that deal. Use # 6 to get Garland
I would maybe kiss a pecker to make that deal happen

One would assume they would want us to take on Tyler Johnson.

Totally agree with you, which is why I doubt it greatly.
I'm just kind of hoping Sarver is that delusional to at least make an offer.

How objectively worthless is Johnson? More worthless or less worthless than Solo?
And will they throw in an extra pick in order for us to take him?

About as clueless as it comes.

We wouldn't even have cap space for a third guy unless we also offloaded Tyler Johnson and probably Josh Jackson.

Solo is FAR more worthless. He can't play at all while Johnson can actually play somewhat. He just makes more than Solo and is overpaid by at least 10 million dollars, while solo is worth not even a minimum contract.

Tyler Johnson actually played okay after a terrible start in PHX. Not good, but also not unplayable level bad. He and Booker were sort of clicking and we were winning games and then Tyler Johnson's body died and we had to play Point Book or start our rookie who didn't even play basketball the previous year.

Tyler Johnson would have to be part of the deal, and then you just stretch Solo.

is he a top 15ish worst nba contract?

His cap hit will be 19ish million, but its an expiring deal.
He's not worth 19 by a long shot so its a bad deal, but at least its expiring and he can play, unlike Solo.

I assumed Johnson meant Wesley Johnson.
Am I wrong?

Wesley Johnson was on the Wizards. I don't even know if he's signed by anyone right now tbh.
Posted on 5/22/19 at 1:28 pm to Philippines4LSU
Phoenix should do this, as AD said he would sign with any of the 29 teams that were not the Pelicans.

We are discussing Tyler Johnson, who was given that bizarre contract by Miami (and subsquently traded to PHO) during that cap explosion offseason.
