Do you think Philly will offer Butler and Harris each a 4 year max?

I’m not saying they won’t, but I also don’t know if that’s the best idea.

I think they kind of have to barring a way to remake that roster.

Between the assets spent on those two and their lack of cap space, they are stuck with that core unless they make another trade and, say, turn Simmons into a different piece.

what else are they gonna do?
you can trade a 30% max later if you have to

take a swing, look at the raptors
sixers were right there and they need to do this before Simmons’ contract is up

Sixers were not right there. Butler is widely disliked by his teammates, fwiw.

sure they were
They were a four bounce prayer in game 7 from the ECF.

all you have to do is get some luck, all these teams east and west can win if Durant is out or leaves GSW. Butler is exactly the kind of player to get you there

AD is not, fwiw

It really speaks to AD's judgement and career intelligence that he is the only one knocking down doors to go play with a declining Lebron for a broken organization in deep decline.

Thank goodness. They have nothing to off the Pelicans or any other potential Superstar teammate to LeBron James

Let them punt to next offseason and waste another year of LeBron's career

If no FA goes there they are gonna make a trade for an all star anyways. They trying to dump those young players. Could easily get Bradley Beal or Mike Conley.

Multiple others would be available as well I’m sure.

they would get Jimmy Butler or of they trade for Davis they could get Irving or Thompson.

Dude, the warriors aren’t letting Klay go anywhere, you keep saying this and you’re crazy if you think that’s even remotely a possibility. Just stop with that noise, it is literally not even an option for the Lakers.

Can we make an argument that:

Jrue
Beal
Ingram
Zion
Okafor + FA

CAP FLEXIBILITY

Is better than:

Rondo
???
Stephenson
Lebron
Davis

ZERO Cap flexibility

???

Every time lebron has played with a top 10-15 player hes made the finals and suddenly a Zion and Ingram led group is better. Come on guys. Im excited about Zion and our future too but come on.

Exactly. Zion isn’t coming in and taking us to the promised land next season. I’d love it but that just won’t happen. Lebron and AD will be a scary duo.

Missing about 30 games each would be scary given the rest of the Laker roster.

Zion and Ingram led? Wouldn't it be Beal and Jrue led, featuring Zion and Ingram?

LeBron has played in the East at a time when every other major star was heading west. It meant he could be on cruise control for most of the regular season then kick it into gear for the playoffs.

He tried that shite this year and ended up as the 10th or 11th seed in the west.

Yall believe what yall want to believe. Im a pels fan but if Davis lands up in Laker land they will be better than pelicans for the next 2-3 years. They will be a top five team very quickly.... not instantly but quickly

I believe that AD is injury prone, LeBron doesn’t have much tread on the tires, they won’t have a good supporting cast, and the west is stacked.

Not saying they can’t win but the odds are against them.
