I think Willie has played well against dime teams. I think he would’ve been good against the small Detroit lineup. He probably matched up better than Nance, who didn’t have a great game. Willie should’ve given Gomez a chance. Gomez is a little undervalued. With Val hurting, we might need Gomez where Nance doesn’t matchup as well.

Let's face it.
If the Pels don't make a trade by the deadline then Willy, Jax and Temple are gone for next season anyway.
The Pels need to somehow add Liddell, Lakers pick and potentially Seabron and Matkovic (2023/24 2 way) to next years roster.
I think Graham is traded in the offseason or next years deadline.
No point in making a trade for minimal upside.

What’s doing right by him? We’re paying him his contract. That to me is doing right by him.
Look around the league and tell me where Willy could go and realistically get consistent minutes, and a team that would be willing to give up something for him.
