I want either Portland or San Antonio. So I'm aiming for the 6th seed
This is my wish too. I really just don’t want to be 7. Playoffs and anywhere else is fine.

Good he would probably have scored 20 against us

Deion,
can you update the OP with who holds tie breakers over each other?
If i remember correctly, Utah, Denver, and Minny have the tie breaker over us, we've won the series against OKC, 2-1 vs the Clips & Spurs with the last game against them.
After head to head, it goes by division w-l% if the teams are all in the same division. This only comes into play if we lose to Spurs.
After division w-l%, it's conference win %, and we are getting smoked in that by everyone. The only teams we have a shot at catching for this is the Spurs/Nuggets/Clippers.
So it really comes down you have to finish with a better record than pretty much every team in contention, assuming Clips and Nuggets don't make it, b/c you aren't winning any tie breakers except with OKC and Spurs.
I think we are battling for the 6 spot with Spurs and Minny (and Denver/Clips). Hopefully Minny keeps losing and we can stay ahead of the Spurs.
I would have no problem matching up against Portland.

As tempting as it is to fast forward to a Rockets-Warriors conference finals, it's worth noting that the next three teams in the West standings (Trail Blazers, Thunder and Jazz) are a combined 25-2 in March.

sure man Ill see what I can find. I know there was one that was posted about a week ago. but ill see if I can get an updated one
Posted on 3/19/18 at 4:38 pm to DeionDeion
this was posted in an article on NBA.com on March 8th
since then:
-OKC def SAS (03/10)
-UTA def NOP (03/11)
-SAS def NOP (03/15)
-OKC def LAC (03/16)
-SAS def MINN (03/17)
-POR def LAC (03/18)
ill put this in the OP for now but if anyone wants to make a neater graphic ill trade it out
EDIT: I did a little work to it. Sorry its a little archaic but I like stuff explained out. Made me realize that while the Pels obviously have a lot of important games left, there are none more individually important than our season finale against SAS, only slightly beat out our last game against the Clippers in terms of significance

46 wins is now the projected cutoff just to get in.
after that, one or two wins and/or tiebreakers will determine 4- 8 seeding.
pels need to go 6 for 12 minimum

It might even be 44. Denver and LAC both have really tough schedules.

Denver is really terrible on the road.

GSW is really resting starters against Spurs? Hope we get the same luck.

that was a worse in-bound play than anything ive seen from the Pelicans

Where you been, bro? GS is super banged up. Klay, KD and Curry all out like 2+ weeks.
