What kind of participation trophy grading system is that where everyone gets A's and B's?

It's almost as if draft grades are worthless, because no one really has any idea how these picks will turn out.

That grade is a mistake too. Edey is going to be good for Memphis. I know Memphis superfan/podcaster Chris Vernon said he would hate that pick before the draft because Edey couldn't keep up with Ja, but that's the wrong way to look at it. Someone else compared him to a 6 inch taller JV. Through that lens he's a 20 mpg monster that should feast on bench units. He also gives Memphis someone to make Wemby uncomfortable in stretches.

Pretty much the role I envisioned for him on our team. Just a different type center for matchups or more usage to cover for Zions inevitable injury.

Biggest issue is Griff's end of season rpesser talkign about being aggressive, then we get the Haynes and Stein reports suggesting Ingram will be traded this week, followed by Griff drafting a boring non-shooting rim runner and then saying this bullshite:

quote:

I think were gonna be fairly aggressive... Everybody thinks these things have to be done by the draft or they have to be done by July 6th. Your roster isn't set til Training camp even then its not.

quote:

Brandon (Ingram) wants to stay here. He believes in what we're building. That's meaningful to us. ... At the same time, there's a financial reality that we all deal with. We're excited about Brandon. We know he's excited about us

The melt is because despite the reports everyone sees Griff justifying extending Ingram and running it back again with a new center like Capela.

I’m just sick of getting Twitter notifications over the last few years saying how griff is being aggressive and trying to get someone just for him to get cold feet year after year. To go along with his other major issues

Most of the people who aren’t melting are new to this organization obviously .. the ones who’ve been here since day 1 are melting because this guy has been lying saying the same thing every season to our face , we over paid asik , Solomon freaking hill , drafted Hilton Armstrong, Jax hayes , Julian freaking weight with lottery picks , do I need keep going or you get the point ?

For sure, wtm? I think Griff made some poor personnel choices, but the Pels have increased win totals each year. Can’t argue that with hypotheticals.

I’m assuming you are claiming to be one of the fans that’s been here for a long time and are blaming Griffin for Hill and Asik which all happened prior to him being here? Unless you’re referring to trading the 4th pick removing hill and that horrible contract from this team. Passing on garland. Griff has had some blunders here for sure. But people give him blame for all the failures but don’t count the Trey Murphy and Herb Jones. His team just also won 45 games. This is a crucial time in his tenure here and to me the trajectory of this team is pending the trade of Ingram who just doesn’t fit with this team. The melt over the 21st draft pick in the weakest draft in maybe 20 years isn’t a sign of being a knowledgeable fan. It’s the sign of being an idiot
