Sorry I haven’t followed the draft since we weren’t picking in the first . What position or player do you guys think we are after at this point ? Any foam in in the rough type players out there you like ?

Its pick 58. I imagine there aren't a lot of guys picked that late that have done anything (Ginobli?).

Its a draft and stash or a guy that's playing for the squadron you hope develops

And when our pick becomes a major contributor that plays 4 quarters and maybe doesn’t have impressive stats overall but still leads our team, what will you say then?

not sure but i have a good feeling he'll end up being the best draft pick of this class for us.

I would say, “Pels have sunk to a new low when pick #58 becomes a leader on this team”

Can't wait for the Pelicans to hold a press conference introducing the 58th overall pick (assuming they don't make a trade).

If you’re going to take a chance on someone in the 2nd round pick one of two things:

1) a very particular specialist skillset and can’t do much else yet (ie, Shooting, Rebounding, Defense)

Or

2) Size. Can’t teach size but can teach other parts of the game.

It’s going to be all flawed players. Foreign that may not come over, can shoot or defend but can’t do frick all else, too old, 7 foot but hasn’t done much etc

Who cares? This is a wasteland of a franchise.

if #58 does anything close to that I would say the end times are upon us and to get your affairs in order

Isaiah Thomas and Kurt Rambis were drafted 58th, so it could totally happen
