Who is a lead assistant that would have you extremely excited?

Let's say that SVG is the HC.
Who is a lead assistant...or assistants...that would get you super excited about the hire and future of the franchise?
For instance, a lot of Clippers fans are pretty thrilled about Billups being brought in. Doc Rivers brought in Joerger which is a pretty good get for him.
There's some speculation out there that the delay in announcing a HC is to get a very good assistant on board.
So who are some of those guys that would get you amped up?

Sam Cassell seems to be headed out in LA. He would be choice #1 for me.
If SVG is hired though, and Jeff is still out of a job, screw it bring JVG as his lead assistant.

Right now, off the top of my head, Will Weaver and Charles Lee are two possible gets I like.
The pipe dreams but would obviously be exciting are keeping Chris Finch, or getting a defensive GOAT like Ron Adams.
Or doing like a Doc and getting someone like Nate McMillan or Atkinson that was a former HC.
Then there are about 6 or so lead guys that it would be cool if SVG could poach like Gentry did with Finch/Bzdelik.
Weaver feels like the realistic type of get though. Though more likely SVG brings back Bob Beyer or something.

Why don't people like Kidd?
I know he lost the team in Milwaukee. But he had some success and he is really good at developing talent. Plus he is still kind of young..

None. Its ALWAYS about the HEAD COACH. Has anyone valued the asst coach more than the man that decides your playing time, value to a team, etc. more than anyone else...?? No... Don't get me wrong, asst coaches have some influence over a player's interactions/reactions to a HC decisions and run interference, but the H.C. is who you follow and take lead from...

I don't know that anybody would get me amped. But there are a few guys I like.
David Fizdale. Would be a really good go-between for the players and SVG. Players like him and he has a history of developing young guys
Nate Mcmillan because he's a really solid coach. He just got caught up in a Casey/Nurse situation where the team was actually good under him, but moved on hoping to get to another level with a new guy.
Outside of that, I really want a relatively recently retired player that already comes in having the respect of the team and can work as a mentor as much as a coach.
