If we don’t trade up for Scoot i would look at trading back with Brooklyn for 21 and 22.

Take Nnaji and OMP, this sounds like a guy we would like
quote:

He doesn’t project as a first or second option on offense but is a glue guy who puts in a lot of work setting screens, on the boards and on the defensive end.

Both of them are swing for the fences high upside guys

I really like Nnaji. He does everything right as big plus he played in europe which nowadays seems more helpful for some of these bigs.

I'm expecting we stay at 14

If we give them Zion we should get a hell of a lot more back than just a #3. I'm expecting we keep 14 - AND get future picks and players and cash.

You'd assume wrong. Zion's value it too low. They know everything about him that we do and that's mostly question marks.

I'd take Scoot for Zion straight up right now. I'd be happy to get that deal.

Feel like people are sleeping on Jalen Hood-Schifino, the combo guard from Indiana.

No offense but you’re an idiot. Good teams don’t trade their players for pennies on the dollar. Look at Boston, they just traded Smart for Porzingas and two first rounders, and you think Zion is worth a single first albeit a high one?

Im leaning towards this. Theres not a whole lot of difference to me between 14 and 21/22. I would trade down for 21 & 22. Take James Nnaji with one of those picks and use the other pick in a trade for an upgrade.

Like can you draft Nnaji at 21 and trade Jonas + 22 for Gafford?

Nnaji won't be ready right away so you get an athletic rim protector locked up for cheap to start for a couple years

Dude is 18, built like Thor and moves like a guard. He's got a ways to go skill wise but he's worth the swing and if he fails i can live with it.

Well you certainly could, I’m sure Washington would love to get a pick along with the better player in the deal.

Mannn people just don’t get it.

I hope he’s the pick, he solves a ton of problems for us.

People are concerned about his 3 point percentage but I like his game. 6’6 combo guard who can run the pick and roll effectively and pull up from mid range. He’s a good defender also.

I think a guard like Jalen Hood-Schifino is pretty likely. Good intersection of talent and team need.

That sounds like Dyson Daniels lol. Im not saying hes not good but unless hes an elite top 5 guy we dont need another guy Vinson has to work with on hus shooting.

His offensive game is way more smooth and advanced than Dyson’s was coming out. Like someone just said, he’s the perfect blend of talent with upside and fitting a need.

JHS isn’t that good. I’d be pretty disappointed

There's like 4 good shooters that are lottery worthy or close to it.

Plenty of prospects improve their jump shot over time. Can't automatically disqualify guys who aren't knockdown shooters yet or you'll miss out on a ton of impact players. It's all about evaluating shot mechanics, work ethic, etc.

I tend to agree. Seems like another non shooting project guy. We need a guy who can immediately contribute especially shooting or interior D/rebounding.
