We don’t know. He’s getting imaging this week and if the imaging is clean I’d expect him to start ramping up. If the imaging is not clean they’ll probably check again 2-3 weeks later.

Yeah, and the team will take a couple of weeks to ramp him up. Assuming that things have gone well, I'd look at the February 10th home game against the Cavs as the target.

Lol. That’s pretty optimistic

Yes, optimism is implied in the words "assuming that things have gone well" and "target."

I’d guess early March

If he isn't back in a week or two (if the imagining is clean), then that is a fricking problem.

Simple equation for figuring out the number of games a player will be out.

Average games missed x 3 = Average games missed for a Pelican.

we should get an update tomorrow or Wednesday, no?

I mean... today marks 3 weeks since the injury occurred and we were told 3 weeks to an update

It’s was 3 weeks till they reevaluate. The player never comes back right after they reevaluate. We’re a couple weeks from all star break, they most likely won’t bring him back before the break so you’re looking at late February at the earliest

We're getting pretty close to the all-star break.

Considering how cautious the medical staff is, 5 bucks (Canadian) says there's a good chance he won't be back until after the break. I hope I'm wrong.

Based on his history, lucky if he plays again this year.

yeah but 3 weeks can mean "sometime in that 3rd week", so could be 27 days from when they said 3 weeks.

I imagine we will know by tomorrow if imaging was done and if he is ramping up or not

You know I'm down bad when Bunchie is more confident in getting an injury update than I am

They said Zion would be re-evaluated in 3 weeks, they didn't say they would tell us when that happens immediately after it happens. He may get re-evaluated in 3 weeks(which I think tomorrow is the 21 day mark), but I have zero confidence that we'll hear anything tomorrow or the next 7 days with a Zion update.

Do not be surprised if he misses another season. Beyond unreliable.
If you cannot get on the court season after season after season, you are wasted salary and zero use to the team.
