What has Borrego been doing the last few years?

I had a similar thread last week, but I really want to know.
Someone in the local media needs to ask him if he was able to run the offense he wanted to or if Willie vetoed it.
Exactly what was he doing? This is not a dig on Borrego, I'm honestly curious.

Giving his input but Willie doing what he wanted.
What we have been running is not a JB system, you will see a stark difference coming in the next few weeks as he installs his sets

It’s a fair question who knows. Might not be much of a difference with him at the helm, but I’m glad I don’t have to see Willie’s stupid fricking face anymore.

It doesn't matter what Borrego does from now to the end of the year. The players clearly respect him and will fight hard for him. That's all you can ask for.
Beyond that, it doesn't matter. A new coach will be here in the summer. Hopefully it's Malone.

Willie was the worst coach in the NBA. Maybe Doug Christie is just as bad...maybe.
Anyway, Borrego got HC interviews so he's clearly respected in the league. Willie will likely never be a HC again.

I don't care what he has been doing...WG is gone and that is what matters.
Borrego now has full control so lets see what he can do. .

Willie was out for some reason in the past and Borrego coached some of the best games we had.

He might have been giving plenty of good suggestions, but Willie to ignore them. If a manager is dumb, arrogant and believes he is right no matter what, it doesn't matter how smart the people around him are. And it's becoming a toxic situation. That's valid for any kind of profession, not only in sports.
Borrego will never admit it, he will prefer to prove himself via work.
Just look at Denver, everyone thought that firing Malone was a mistake, but it seems they are playing very good right now (also in the playoffs last year).

Apparently behind the scenes the entire coaching staff was fed up because they were allowed zero input and were ignored everytime they tried to give input. Willie was so arrogant he thought he knew it all.

Gotta give him credit.

Just stupid that they waited 12 games in to do what was inevitable. We could have had an offseason of working on his sets. Hope the players can adapt fast.

Even if anybody asked that question, he's not going to answer it. Lol. You're so naive
